The drive encourages residents of all ages to write heartfelt messages of appreciation for the men and women who have served our country.
HOMER GLEN, IL — To celebrate Valentine’s Day, State Representative Nicole La Ha is inviting the community to help brighten the day of local veterans with her Valentines for Veterans card drive, according to a release from her office.
Running now through Feb. 13, the drive encourages residents of all ages to write heartfelt messages of appreciation for the men and women who have served our country.
“This Valentine’s Day, we have a chance to do something small that can make a big impact,” said La Ha. “Our veterans deserve to know they’re remembered, valued, and appreciated for their service. These cards are a simple but meaningful way to show we care. Together, let’s make this Valentine’s Day a special one for the heroes among us."
