183rd Street Resurfacing to Start Next Week
The resurfacing of 183rd Street from Riegel Rd. to Halsted St. will take an estimated five weeks to complete.
Beginning Aug. 12, road crews will be out on 183rd Street performing resurfacing work from Riegel Rd. to Halsted St. during daytime hours, according to a notice from the village.
The good news is that 183rd will remain open during the construction. The bad news—expect delays, especially during the day.
In addition to street work, crews will also be doing curb and sidewalk repair and traffic signal loop replacement.
