2- Car Crash In Glenwood Injures Multiple People, Police Say
Police said one of the cars was carrying at least 5 passengers during the Saturday crash on Glenwood Dyer Road.
GLENWOOD, IL — A serious crash Saturday left multiple people injured after a car caught fire following a head-on collision, police said.
Glenwood police said one car hit another Saturday at around 2 p.m. near Glenwood Dyer Road and Minerva Avenue. One of the vehicles was carrying at least five passengers.
Some passengers and the driver of the other car were taken to the hospital in multiple ambulances, police said. As of Monday, officials told Patch no deaths were reported but were not immediately sure of the extent of all the injuries.
