3 In Custody After Police Break Up Large Fight: Homewood PD

HOMEWOOD, IL — Three people were taken into custody after a fight in Homewood Thursday afternoon, police said.

Police were called Thursday just before 3 p.m. to the 3100 block of 183rd Street for an "unknown problem." Police at the scene called for more officers to respond for a group of subjects fighting, police said.

Multiple surrounding jurisdictions responded to the call for assistance. The scene was secured, and three individuals were taken into custody. The investigation is pending.
