66-Year-Old Woman Killed At Walmart In South Suburbs: Police
A 40-year-old man is charged with first-degree murder in the killing, according to police.

LANSING, IL — A 66-year-old woman was killed in broad daylight over the weekend at a south suburban Walmart, according to police.
Officers responded around 1:45 p.m. Saturday to the big box store in the 17600 block of Torrence Avenue, where they found Victoria L. Olson of Thornton suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot, police said, adding she was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Investigators gathered evidence and witness statements, and 40-year-old Adebowale A. Oyelekan of Lansing was charged with first-degree murder, police announced Monday.
