Body Found In Flossmoor Pond Identified As Steger Man

FLOSSMOOR, IL — The body of a man who was found in a pond at Coyote Run Golf Course last week has been identified as Marshall Ray Peters of Steger.

Peters, 66, was found last Thursday by maintenance crews who were reporting to work at about 7 a.m. A dive team recovered his body from the pond. Police said there were no signs of trauma.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said the cause and manner of his death are still pending.
