Chicago Marathon: 36 Runners from H-F Cross the Finish Line
The fastest runner from H-F finished the 26.2-mile Chicago Marathon in under 3 hours.
Congratulations to the 36 men and women from Homewood and Flossmoor who finished Sunday's 2013 Bank of America Chicago Marathon!
According to the official results page, 48 H-F runners were signed up to race and 36 finished.
The fastest of the pack was Homewood's Greg Castady, 40, who finished 9th in his age group his age group and 131st overall with an impressive time of 02:38:01.
Among the other notable finishes was Flossmoor's Tamerra Buckhanan, 69, who finished 32nd in her age group with a time of 05:28:28.
