Dear Reader,

December is full of tiny glimmers if we slow down enough to notice them. The smell of freshly cut evergreens. The sound of footsteps crunching through the snow. The glow of candles lighting up a quiet room. The weight of a warm, snuggly blanket draped over your shoulders. Twinkling lights reflected in the windows. Cards from friends tucked into the mailbox. The first breath of crisp air when you step outside. And that unmistakable quiet that settles over everything after a snowfall.

These small moments have a way of softening the edges of the season. They remind us that even in the rush, there is beauty, stillness, something tender, asking us to pause.

Listen | Ali Dineen’s Riversong opens with a tenderness that feels touched by moonlight. Julia shared it with me this week, saying the first lines reminded her of the full moon — that soft, steady glow that reveals what we’ve been carrying. We hope you enjoy it, too.

Try This | Walking helps the mind make sense of what the heart is holding. When life feels tangled, go for a walk. Walk after the hard conversations. Walk when your mind won’t settle. Walk when you need to find your center again. Trust your body. It knows how to guide you home.

What glimmers can you find this week?
