Dolton Man, 26, Found Fatally Shot In Park Forest: Police

The man was found shot Thursday morning, Park Forest police said Thursday evening.

PARK FOREST, IL — A 26-year-old Dolton man was found fatally shot Thursday in Park Forest, police said.

Police were called around 11:30 a.m. Thursday to the 0-100 block of Krotiak Street to assist the Park Forest Fire Department with an unresponsive male. The man, identified as 26-year-old Kevin M. Miller from Dolton, was found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Park Forest Investigators, along with members of the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force, responded to the scene, assisted by the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Unit.

The incident is currently under investigation. Initial information indicates that this was an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the general public, Park Forest police said.
