HOMEWOOD, IL — The driver of a car that crashed into a home in Homewood was hospitalized early Friday morning. Police there said hospital personnel were evaluating the extent of the driver's injuries after the crash was reported around 3:25 a.m. in the 18000 block of Highland Avenue. The driver was the only person in the car at the time of the crash and no one inside the home suffered any injuries, police said. The Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team is helping Homewood police with the investigation. Anyone with information on the crash should call the Homewood Police Department's Criminal Investigations Unit at 708-206-3420.
