Eight Men Charged with Felony after Dog Fight Bust

All attendees of the Dec. 6 bust were charged with attending and patronizing a dog fight.

Police charged all eight attendees of last week's Dolton dog fighting bust with class 4 felonies.

Cops caught the men after receiving a tip about a dog fight at the 1500 block of 142nd Street on the night of Dec. 6.

One of the men, Willie McCray, 26, of Calumet City has a no-bond warrant for "Murder, Strong Probability Death/Injury."

South Suburban Humane Society investigators rescued seven dogs from the scene. They are now recovering at the Chicago Heights facility.
