All candidates must provide proof of the successful completion of the Police Office Wellness Evaluation Report (P.O.W.E.R.) at the written test. The P.O.W.E.R. test can be completed at Joliet Junior College or the Northeastern Illinois Public Safety Training Academy. The P.O.W.E.R. test consists of a sit and reach test, one minute sit-up test, 1.5 mile run and one repetition maximum bench press. Learn more about a P.O.W.E.R. test here.
