Flossmoor Pride, Flossmoor Brewfest Postponed Due To Coronavirus

The village remains optimistic both events will be held "in the near future."

FLOSSMOOR, IL — Two popular and fairly new yearly events in the village of Flossmoor have been postponed, but officials there have hope that both Flossmoor Pride and Flossmoor Brewfest will both be held this year. The postponements were announced last week due to the ongoing worldwide coronavirus pandemic.

"We regret to inform the community that due to the coronavirus pandemic and the extended stay at home orders, the village of Flossmoor has decided to postpone our annual Flossmoor Pride and Flossmoor Brewfest," the village wrote in its weekly e-newsletter.

The village said the postponements were "a difficult but necessary decision.

"However, we are optimistic that both events will be rescheduled in the near future."

Last year, Flossmoor Brewfest was held in October and featured beer from several breweries and a number of food vendors as well. Flossmoor Pride last year was held in June.
