FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Flossmoor Public Art Commission has announced a new fundraiser to get people thinking about spring and warmer days. Its Garden Art Benefit Sale & Auction is a unique fundraiser where creative individuals and artists will fashion one-of-a-kind flowerpots, bird baths, bird feeders, bird houses, wind chimes, wind spinners and other lawn decorations then donate them for an online auction, benefitting public sculptures in Flossmoor.

The Commission is currently seeking contributing artists via its website.

Applications will close Sunday, March 31, and artwork must be completed by Friday, May 31. In June, photos of the completed Garden Art projects will be posted online for a virtual auction. The auction will close in July.
