Flossmoor Seeks Project Hosts, Ideas For Annual Day Of Service

Village officials are planning for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day coordinated effort.

FLOSSMOOR, IL — Village officials are seeking those who would like to head up projects for the Village's annual Day of Service this winter.

Flossmoor’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service — held annually on the observed birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. — coordinates hundreds of volunteers to help with a variety of non-profit service in and around Flossmoor. This year’s event will take place on Monday, Jan. 20. Project site hosts are needed for this year’s event, the Village posted on its website.
