H-F High School Recruits Bolingbrook Girls Basketball Coach

H-F High School will be welcoming a new girls basketball coach come next school year.

Former Bolingbrook High School girls basketball coach Tony Smith is taking charge of the lady Vikings, Sun-Times Media reports.

Smith boasts an impressive track record with Bolingbrook, including three 4A state titles between 2009 and 2011.  

“It’s very exciting for us,” H-F athletic director Alec Anderson told the Sun-Times Media. “(Smith) did a great job of interviewing, and the committee really liked him as a coach and as a person.”

Smith is replacing Dana Noble, who was not rehired at H-F after a 63-25 record he compiled over his three years at the school.
