Heroin, Digital Scale Found On Homewood Man After Crash, Cops Say

More than six grams of what's believed to be heroin was found on a Homewood man involved in a Saturday night crash, police said.

HOMEWOOD, IL — Police in Homewood say heroin a digital scale were found on a man involved in a crash on Terrace Road on Saturday.

Bryan Leonard, 38, of the 2300 block of West 183rd Street was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at 11:06 p.m. on May 2 after police responded to a traffic crash in the 1700 block of Terrace Road.

Leonard is accused of having in his possession 6.9 grams of heroin and a digital scale that led to the drug paraphernalia charge.
