Homewood Board To Consider Municipal Code Amendments

The amendments regard liquor licensing, remote meeting participation, public dances and prohibiting parking in fire lanes.

HOMEWOOD, IL — The Homewood Village board will meet on Tuesday, where a number of proclamations and municipal code amendments will be considered.

The board meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall, located at 2020 Chestnut Road. The board will be considering the approval of municipal code amendments regarding liquor licensing, remote meeting participation, public dances and prohibiting parking in fire lanes.

Trustees are also expected to pass a resolution to reimburse the owner of Homewood Chevrolet, Steve Phillipos, for eligible TIF expenses to acquire the Van Drunen Ford dealership located at 3323 183rd Street.
