Homewood Debuts 'Rock The Block' Parties Downtown For Summer 2024
The block parties will be held in Martin Square on the last Wednesday of the month this summer.
HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood residents are invited to come on out to the downtown for some good, old-fashioned block party fun this summer.
The Village recently announced it will debut "Rock the Block" block parties, to be held in Martin Square the last Wednesday of the month throughout the summer.
The first party is planned for June 26, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature All Sing Karaoke with DJ Nate Olson, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Food and drink from Twisted Q will be available. Artisan vendors will also be featured, as well as kid-friendly activities.

Other block parties are set for July 31 and August 28.
"Enjoy your dinner in downtown Homewood or stop by for dessert," officials said. "Come hang out with your neighbors with a lawn chair and listen to live music. Maybe even dance in the street with our guest DJ!"
