Homewood Students Named GeoBee State Competitors

Five Homewood-area students show off their world knowledge as state qualifiers in the GeoBee competition March 29.

HOMEWOOD, IL — Five Homewood-area students will be competing for college scholarships and the chance to be crowned the 2019 National Geographic GeoBee Champion.

These students will be competing in the state-level competition March 29:

The National Geographic GeoBee is an annual academic competition designed to inspire and reward students' curiosity about the world. Students in grades four through eight from about 10,000 schools in the United States will compete this year for the national title
