We’re kind of excited about that. This past year, we’ve had a total of about $300,000 in green friendly grants. We received a grant from Cook County—from the Cook County Energy Efficiency Program—and that $100,000 was used to replace the boiler here in the village hall. This was a boiler that was about 35-40 years old, and we’ve increased the efficiency with this unit by about 25 percent. We also were successful in receiving a $200,000 grant from DCEO (Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for the State), and that (money) is for the downtown street lighting project, which is in the process of being completed now. The $200,000 towards that project is about 25 percent of the cost. So, to summarize, we’ve received about $300,000 in the past year and we’re actively continuing to focus our efforts on getting more green friendly grants.
