James Hart 7th Grade Girls Volleyball Team Heads to State
The James Hart School Panthers 7th grade girls volleyball team claimed the Illinois Elementary School Association regional and sectional crowns, earning the right to compete in the state quarterfinals at Peoria Junior High School Saturday, March 9.
The James Hart School Panthers seventh grade girls volleyball team is taking its talents to State, following an undefeated regular season, a regional title and a sectional title.
The Panthers (15-0) will hit the road to take on Channahon Junior High Indians (20-1) in the Illinois Elementary School Association quarterfinal at East Peoria Junior High Saturday, March 9, at 3:30 p.m.
The Panthers dropped Washington-McKinley School and Parker Junior High School to claim their regional title, before besting Heritage Middle School to grab the sectional championship.

In a press release, coaches said the team, “is excited about the trip to East Peoria Central Junior High School this weekend. They feel fortunate to have the support of the school district, student body and their families.”
