Judith Anne Hillgard (née McCabe), 80, of Watersmeet, Mich., formerly of Chicago and Homewood, died June 3 after a brief illness.
HOMEWOOD, IL — Judith Anne Hillgard (née McCabe), age 80, of Watersmeet, MI, formerly of Chicago and Homewood IL, passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2019, surrounded by family after a brief illness.
Judy was a Loon Ranger, Master Gardener, artist, lover of nature and the Northwoods. Judy was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents James and Dorothy, and her brother Jimmy.
She is survived by her children Matt (Linda), Connie, Kathy, and Tim; one brother, Jerry; Grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Colleen, Jack, Bobby, and Julie; great-grandchildren Belle, Addie, and George; and Aunt of 9.
