Flossmoor Woman Builds Business on 'Nutty' Dream

The ladies behind 'twofold' healthy snacks took some time to share their experiences along the journey of starting up a small business.

At less than one year old, healthy snack company 'twofold' is still in its infancy, but the locally developed business is already making a big name for itself.

Flossmoor's Jennifer Blaeser co-founded 'twofold' with Paula Morawski of Chicago. They say their simple, boutique product fills a big void in a niche market—as evident by their surprising popularity. As of now, 'twofold' products are already carried in over 30 locations among 4 states (including Sweet Annie's Bakery, Dunning's Market and Sunrise Health Foods, among others). A developing relationship with Whole Foods is in the process, they say.

Watch the video above for a quick glimpse at what it's like to quit your successful job and take a leap of faith in a floundering economy.
