Man, 19, Pointed Gun At Portillo's Employee: Homewood PD

The incident happened in the drive-thru of the restaurant Sunday, police said.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A Chicago man was arrested and faces gun charges after pointing a handgun at a Portillo's employee, police said.

Police said Khalid Crockerhan, 19, was charged with two felony counts of unlawful use of a weapon and a misdemeanor count of assault with a deadly weapon after the incident in the drive-thru of the restaurant at 175th and Halsted on Sunday.

Police said officers found Crockerhan inside a vehicle, with two loaded semi-automatic handguns with extended magazines.

Crockerhan was charged and transported to the Markham Courthouse for a detention hearing on Oct. 28.
