Man Fired Gun During Fight On Homewood Pace Bus Route: State Police
Police said the man fired a gun aboard the bus on I-94.

ILLINOIS — Police say a Chicago man fired a gun during a fight on a Pace bus on I-94 on Tuesday afternoon. According to Illinois State Police, Anthony Bland, 33, fired the weapon during a "physical altercation" on the bus at around 3:45 p.m.
The Route 353 Homewood Pace bus was southbound on I-94 near 130th Street in Chicago when the shot was fired, according to police
No one was hit by gunfire and the bus was "safely relocated" off the expressway during the investigation, state police said. According to CBS Chicago, the bus was seen stopped on the outbound Bishop Ford south of 115th Street, with the driver and passengers standing outside during the investigation.

Bland was arrested at the scene and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and reckless discharge of a firearm, both felonies. He is also charged with misdemeanor criminal damage to property.
He is being held without bond at the Cook County Jail, state police said.
