Missing Flossmoor Man Found Safe In Mississippi: Police
Ben Amenta, 36, was found over 700 miles from his home after his parents said he left to go to a coffee shop last month.

FLOSSMOOR, IL — A 36-year-old man who went missing from his Flossmoor home last month has been found safe in Jackson, Mississippi, his family told reporters.
Ben Amenta was first reported missing on Nov. 27 about six hours after he left his parent's home to go to a coffee shop. The man was agitated when he left, the Clarion Ledger first reported, and family and friends believed he could have been a danger to himself as a result.
Amenta's car was found in the parking lot of a church in Jackson a few days later with a dead battery. Family said they re-charged his vehicle and left it in the Mississippi parking lot in case Amenta were to return.
