New Homewood Orthodontist Celebrates Grand Opening

Dr. Lisa Grant, DDS has been serving the community’s orthodontic needs for the past 19 years out of her downtown office. Last week, however, Grant opened up a brand new, state-of-the-art facility at 18243 Harwood Avenue. 

Office Manager Robin McElligott says Grant moved because she outgrew the old facility. With the expansion, Grant also hired new associate Dr. Tamara Oweis.

"We have an outstanding team," McElligott says of Dr. Grant and her seven employees. "It's a family atmosphere. When you come in, it's warm and exciting." 

To celebrate the move and the new facility, Dr. Grant's office will be offering special events every day this week. Here’s a list of what to expect:

• Monday (1-3 p.m.): Free Dilly Bars
• Tuesday (1-3 p.m.): Free
• Wednesday (1-3 p.m.): Free Carnival Food (popcorn, cotton candy, etc.)
• Thursday (1-3 p.m.): Free Ice Cream Sandwich Day
• Friday (3-6 p.m.): Free BBQ

Additionally, from now through October 4, the practice will be raffling off four Justin Bieber tickets along with a limo ride to the concert.
