Paramedics Exposed To Coronavirus Are Working; No Self-Quarantine
A clarification from the village of Homewood indicates the paramedics exposed to the new coronavirus are able to function at full capacity.

HOMEWOOD, IL — Three village of Homewood paramedics who were exposed to someone in the village who later tested positive for the new coronavirus are working at "regular capacity," a clarification from a village spokeswoman indicates. As of March 31, none of the paramedics have shown any symptoms of the coronavirus.
Initially, the village indicated the paramedics were self-quarantining even though they were not showing any symptoms. The first statement from the village indicated they would remain quarantined for the normal two-week period.
But now, the new statement indicates they are back at work.

"Under current CDC, IDPH, and County guidance, these Paramedics are able to function at their regular capacity," the new statement from the village reads. "If there was to be any change in their condition, or as would be for any citizen, appropriate medical guidelines would be followed."
In a video shared over the weekend, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said that even healthcare workers who test positive but then recover should still return to work at that time because they are so critical right now.
