Park Forest Man, 44, Found Dead After Shoveling Snow: Coroner

The man was found outside Saturday, Jan. 13, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

PARK FOREST, IL — A 44-year-old Park Forest man was found dead outside after shoveling snow over the weekend, the Will County Coroner's office said Tuesday.

The coroner's office warned residents to use caution while shoveling and limit exposure to the cold after what it called two cold-related deaths in several days.

The Park Forest man was found outside his residence Saturday. An address and the man's identity were not disclosed. An exact cause of death is pending an autopsy, the coroner's office said. Patch has reached out to Park Forest Police for more information.

A Bolingbrook man, 59, was also found dead outside his residence Tuesday, Jan. 16. That death is also pending an autopsy and toxicological results.
