Police Officer Shot, Injured Person In Dolton: State Police

The person was taken to the hospital with 'non-life-threatening' injuries. No police officers were injured in the Thursday morning shooting.

DOLTON, IL — One person is in the hospital after a Dolton police officer shot and injured the man at around 1 a.m. Thursday, Illinois State Police said.

The shooting occurred at 1:07 a.m. in the 600 block of Sibley Boulevard. The man was taken to a hospital with "non-life-threatening injuries," according to ISP.

No officers were injured during the incident.
