Hometown: Homewood-Flossmoor

Hero's job: Food Service

Relationship to nominee: Wife

Reason for recognition: During the entirety of the pandemic, even during the mandated
stay-at-home orders, she continued to work 50 hours a week as a General Manager of
KFC. She endured rude customers, no additional pay, and little to no support from her
company leaders.

One thing to know: She has the largest, kindest heart of any person I have ever met. She continuously puts others before herself and rarely complains. She's the best.

Submitter name: Amy Kent

Thank you for all you do, Tara!
