Shots Fired In Homewood, Person At Large: Police

HOMEWOOD, IL — Shots were fired early Tuesday morning in Homewood, according to the Homewood Police Department.

Around 12:05 a.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Jill Terrace after receiving reports of shots fired. When officials arrived, police said damage to a residence was discovered.

While investigating, officials located shell casings in the area, and two people were seen running after the incident occurred, according to police. As of Tuesday morning, no offenders have been located.
