Oestmann and a 16-year-old pulled up to the residence in a car as deputies were poised to raise the place, police said. Oestmann was allegedly carrying a 40-caliber Glock when he was taken into custody.

The serial numbers on the Glock and all three firearms found in the house had been defaced, police said.

Along with the guns, deputies confiscated 64 rounds of ammunition, eight tramadol pills, a bottle of promethazine with codeine, nearly 20 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Oestmann was charged with the aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a defaced firearm. The 16-year-old was taken to the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center.
