String Of Car Burglaries Reported In Flossmoor
Most of the cars burglarized early Wednesday morning were left unlocked, which a window was damaged on one.

FLOSSMOOR, IL — Police in Flossmoor are investigating a series of early morning car break-ins. Severn cars in the 2600 block of Central Drive and on Flossmoor Road were entered between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, police said. All of them were left unlocked except for one, which police said had its window broken.
The owner of the car that had its window smashed heard it break and saw a black man, approximately 5'7" with an average build and wearing a black winter hat and black hooded sweatshirt flee the scene, police said.
He entered a black unknown bigger style sport utility car that had a tail light out and headed northbound on Leavitt Avenue, police said.
