Retail Theft

Herbert Turner, 61, of Chicago Heights was charged with retail theft at 5:14 p.m. on April 2 at Home Depot, 17845 Halsted. Turner placed items into a shopping cart and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $503.

Theft

Anders Palmateer, of the 1700 block of 183rd Street was charged with theft and criminal trespass at 1:48 p.m. on April 12. Palmateer was in possession of property which he did not have permission or authorization to have. The property had been removed from a vehicle around mid March and located on April 12, when Palmateer was taken into custody. Palmateer entered and remained in a garage at a residence without the knowledge or permission of the homeowner.
