Tickets On Sale For High School's 'Lion King Jr.' Annual Musical

Homewood-Flossmoor High School students will perform the popular show based on the Disney movie from Nov. 17 - 19.

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — Homewood-Flossmoor High School students will perform The Lion King Jr. for their annual musical this November, school officials announced. Tickets are on sale now for the Nov. 17-19 show.

The popular show based on the Disney animated movie and William Shakespeare's Hamlet will feature classic songs from the film such as "Circle of Life," "I Just Can't Wait to Be King," "Hakuna Matata" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight."

The show will run Nov. 17-19 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. each night. Tickets for adults will be $10 while students, children and senior citizens can purchase theirs for $5. The performance is scheduled to talk place in the high school's Mall Auditorium at 999 Kedzie Avenue.

In accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, officials told Patch seating will be assigned to allow space between parties and all showgoers will be required to wear a mask while inside the building.
