'Top Vascular Surgeon,' Flossmoor Resident Retires After 42 Years
Dr. Ramesh Adiga is leaving Advocate South Suburban Hospital after earning the reputation as a top vascular surgeon, reports the Northwest Indiana Times.

One of the Southland's most well-reputed vascular surgeons is retiring after 42 years of service, reports the Northwest Indiana Times.
Flossmoor resident Ramesh Adiga, M.D. has been a stand-out staffer at Advocate South Suburban Hospital since 1971—the year the hospital opened.
Adiga's exceptional skill over the year's has lead him to hold positions such as chair of the Department of Surgery, president of the medical staff and member of the hospital’s board of directors, according to a release from Advocate South Suburban Hospital's website. Adiga also belonged to the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Clinical Society for Cascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons, among other prestigious organizations.
