Treeshare Back In Homewood, Get New Trees For Half Off

HOMEWOOD, IL — The Homewood Tree Committee and the Department of Public Works welcome Homewood residents to purchase discounted trees, while supplies last.

The Treeshare Program returns to the Village of Homewood on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until the trees sell out.

The tree sale will be held at the Village of Homewood's Village Hall parking lot. The Village's Treeshare Program is a way for residents to split the cost with the Village to plant new trees for their private property.

There is a limit of two (2) trees per resident. All sales are first come, first served. Village Arborists will be on-site to answer any and all questions. Trees available for purchase include Sweetgum, Flame Thrower Redbud, Midnight Express Redbud, Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry, American Yellowwood, Burr Oak, Swamp White Oak, Shingle Oak, and Kentucky Coffeetree.
