Verizon Store Robbed At Gunpoint: Homewood PD
The armed robbery happened Monday at Verizon Wireless in Homewood, police said.
HOMEWOOD, IL — Police are investigating Monday after a cell phone store was robbed at gunpoint.
Police were called at 11:20 a.m. to the Verizon Wireless store, 17575 S. Halsted, for a report of an armed robbey.
Two masked suspects entered the location, each displaying a handgun and demanded money from the register. The offenders obtained an unknown amount of cash and merchandise before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the incident.
