Text My Gov is a new reporting platform that uses your mobile phone's regular messaging service to quickly report issues and find information on the go. No downloads necessary! Using smart texting technology, Text My Gov searches dozens of keywords to provide assistance anytime, day or night. Simply text “Hi” to (708) 249-3224 to get started. From there, enter any of the featured keywords to report your issue and find answers. Featured keywords include: potholes, tree trimming, bill pay, animal license, jobs, office hours and more.  Your text report can also include a picture, description and other info. The more detailed the report, the quicker the issue can be addressed.

You can also sign-up to receive Village alerts via text message. Learn about Village events, stay up-to-date on current Village policies, or be alerted to any emergency, weather or community related information. Opt-in today by texting “FLOSSMOOR” to 91896. You will receive a confirmation message asking you to reply “YES” to verify. You will receive up to four text messages a month with a notification for each alert category selection. Text “STOP” anytime to remove yourself from the notification list.
