Village Of Flossmoor: Winter Storm Expected Tuesday Through Thursday

A winter storm watch is in effect starting Tuesday, February 1 evening through Thursday, February 3 evening. Total snow accumulations of more than 6 inches are possible with this storm, creating potentially dangerous travel conditions. Two rounds of snow are possible with this storm, the first Tuesday night through Wednesday morning and the second Wednesday night through Thursday. A break in the heaviest snow rates may occur during the day on Wednesday.

The Village of Flossmoor Public Works Department is currently working to prepare its fleet and Village roads for the event. As a general reminder, there is no parking on Village streets with snow accumulation of 2-inches or more. Please keep these other snow removal practices in mind when the winter storms arrive.
