Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Flossmoor’s Winterfest, the "respond now" drive and . All wouldn’t have been possible, in part, without Jocelyn Velazquez. And those are just a few of the events that Velazquez has volunteered at. An Honor Roll student at , Velazquez is also a member of the softball team and various other volunteer-oriented school organizations such as PADS and Key club. She’s already exceeded her minimum volunteer requirements, but that doesn’t slow her down.
“I like to make people smile, and I love to help,” said Velazquez.
