Woman Found Dead At Home In Homewood; No Foul Play Suspected

HOMEWOOD, IL — Police in Homewood are investigating the death of a 42-year-old woman found dead in a home Wednesday. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the death of Amanda Lussenhop of the 1700 block of Ridge Road at 1:10 p.m. on March 25.

Deputy Police Chief Denise McGrath said police were called to help the Homewood Fire Department at the home, where Lussenhop was pronounced.

Police say there are no signs of foul play, but the Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Homewood police are the investigating agency connected to the death.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
