Woman Killed During Funeral Procession In South Suburbs: Reports
The woman was shot repeatedly and her vehicle struck a residence during the incident in south suburban Dixmoor, reports said.
DIXMOOR, IL — A woman was killed while in a funeral procession Saturday in the south suburbs, according to reports.
Rhomesha Turner, 34, was shot repeatedly during the procession from St. Mark’s Church in Harvey, according to WGN.
Officers responded around noon to calls of shots fired at West 147th Street and Seeley Avenue in Dixmoor, WLS reported. When they arrived, they found Turner inside an SUV that had crashed into a residence, according to WGN.
