A wrong-way driver on I-94 near 159th Street caused a crash in which five people were injured early Saturday morning. One seriously injured person was taken by helicopter to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.The wreck took place about 2:30 a.m. as a vehicle was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-94 from I-80. The four other injured people were taken to Franciscan St. Margaret Hospital in Indiana.State Police said all lanes in either direction were closed but the interstate was reopened by 7:20 a.m.
