yesterday I was grumpy
Liz's Mindful Mondays: Weekly Reflections + Inspiration from the Heart of Serendipity Yoga and Wellness

Dear Reader,
We all have grumpy days, and yesterday was one for me. From the moment I woke up until I finally closed my eyes, I felt on edge. My clothes did not fit right, the cold felt sharper than usual, and a sharp migraine headache lingered in the background of each thought and action. The small things that normally roll off my back were suddenly all I could focus on.
This morning, though, I woke up seeing the world through softer eyes. I am not in the best mood of my life, but I can recognize that what I felt yesterday was a temporary state. Like everything else, my emotions are always moving and reshaping themselves. Nothing in this life is permanent, and that includes the heaviness we sometimes carry.

What today brings is still a mystery, but in this moment I feel a bit more like myself than I did yesterday. That shift, however subtle, is what truly matters. As you move through your own week, notice the ways your emotions rise, fall, and change. Let those gentle shifts remind you that you are always allowed to begin again.
With peace (and a bit of moodiness),
Liz
