HCSD 158: Coach Wells Named IHSTCA Northern Illinois Girls Tennis Coach Of The Year

Barry Wells, Huntley High School’s girls tennis coach, was named the Illinois High School Tennis Coaches Association (IHSTCA) 2020 Regional Girls Coach of the Year! The IHSTCA will be recognizing Coach Wells and the other Regional coaches at the Winter Workshop on February 4, 2022.

This year, Huntley High School’s girls tennis team took home the Fox Valley Conference championship and progressed to sectionals. Two students, Dyllan Cash and Kylie Phommasack, advance to the state tournament. The team was also named the 2021 Northwest Herald All-Area girls tennis team.
