Lenten Adult Study Series at Shepherd of the Prairie

"24 Hours that Changed the World" every Friday at 11:00am-12noon throgh April 18

A Lenten adult study series, “24 Hours that Changed the World”, is being held at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church in Huntley, every Friday at 11:00am-12noon through April 18, 2025.

The aim of this study is to help better understand the events that occurred during the last twenty-four hours of Jesus' life; to see more clearly the theological significance of Christ's suffering and death; and to reflect upon the meaning of these events for your life.

This twenty-four hour period will be explored through reflections on biblical foundations, video presentations and discussions. The video segments feature Adam Hamilton speaking from one of the sites in Jerusalem traditionally associated with the events the Gospels record as taking place during Jesus' final 24 hours.
