Rep. Keicher, Cortland Mayor to Host Online Scams & ID Theft Prevention Event
The event will start at noon at the Cortland Lions Club.

To assist constituents in protecting themselves against the threat of scams and the theft of sensitive personal information posed by our modern world, State Representative Jeff Keicher (R-70th District) and Cortland Mayor Mark Pietrowski are hosting an Online Scams and Identity Theft prevention presentation on Monday, September 29. The event will start at noon at the Cortland Lions Club.
Experts from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office will teach attendees how to identify basic online scams, recognize cybersecurity and privacy risks, protect personal information online, safeguard banking and financial information, and report scams and seek assistance if needed.
